The North Peace Commercial Driving Academy, a joint venture between the Peace River School Division and Northwestern Polytechnic, is officially operational.
Amid much anticipation, the Academy soft launched on June 10. The vision of the PRSD for the North Peace Commercial Driving Academy is to address the local economy’s need for highly-skilled commercial drivers, while additionally providing a direct pathway to a successful career for our secondary school graduates.
With the launch of the Class 1 MELT program, the Academy now offers both Class 1 and Class 2S driver training.
